Vegan Beauty Advent Calendars
Update; find the 2019 guide here.
In the run up to Christmas, a few retailers have already began releasing their beauty advent calendars. Read on to discover vegan and cruelty-free beauty advent calendars. I’ve also included a ‘not vegan’ section for those you may have thought were okay.
This post will be updated regularly in the run up to Christmas 2018 as more calendars are released. Follow me on @veganbeautygirl where I’ll be keeping you up to date on vegan beauty (advents, gift boxes & amazing deals) on the run up to Christmas.
Vegan Beauty Advent Calendars
Grab a bargain with Superdrug
If you’re looking to grab an early-bird bargain, vegan-favourite Superdrug have a good discount on their new Advent Calendar line up with a few of them labelled ‘suitable for vegans’:
Superdrug Studio London Beauty Advent – 24 Day Calendar – I really love the look of this advent filled up with vegan makeup goodies. Body glitter, eye shadow palettes and lip gloss are among some of the products you can expect to find behind the doors.

Bristle & Smith Mens – 12 Day Calendar – Contains beauty pieces like: nail clippers, bath salts, shave balm, shower gel. Nothing too fancy, but a nice set for a man with a beard.
Flutter Beauty – 12 Day Calendar – Mini makeup products can be found behind the doors. Watch me unbox this on my YouTube.
Bloom Collection Fragrance Calendar – 12 Day Calendar – Open up the doors of this calendar to find 12 different 8ml fragrances. The contemporary classic fragrances can be worn individually or layered to create a personalised scent.
The Pip Box
This vegan beauty advent has 24 doors with both full-sized and travel-sized treats behind them. This advent comes from The Pip Box, a subscription box dedicated to helping beauty lovers go cruelty-free.

Whilst it sounds pricey at £65, there are plenty of great items which makes this amazing value for money. These are selling fast, so grab one whilst you can.
EccoVerde
EccoVerde is a European ethical brand retailer. With a huge vegan selection of beauty gifts, it seems natural that they released a vegan beauty advent. This £36.15 vegan beauty advent contains full-size and mini-size products included valued at €150.

Behind each door is a carefully selected vegan surprise from the Ecco Verde catalogue. This includes cosmetics for the face, hair and body. With 24 doors, you can enjoy this everyday in the run up to Christmas. Whilst on their site also check out their vegan chocolate advent and their organic tea advent.
Lush
Lush, famous for bath bombs and good ethics, have released a ‘12 Days of Christmas‘. This is a great way to try out the best of their limited edition Christmas products with a wonderful surprise each day.

At £75 for a 12 piece calendar it isn’t a huge saving compared to buying everything individually, but the box sure is pretty. If you’re interested in trying out more Lush products but don’t know where to start, why don’t you check out My 5 Favourite Lush Products.
Calendars to Avoid (not vegan)
The Body Shop®
Unfortunately none of The Body Shop®’s advent calendars are vegan. Since ditching L’Oreal The Body Shop® have used a lot of marketing efforts to entice the vegan audience. So it came as a surprise to me when they released 3 non-vegan advent calendars. It’s such a shame too as they look great and are super good value for money.

However, if you’re looking for some great beauty products I recommend adding the following vegan products to your Christmas Wishlist:

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask for a super effective, tingly face mask, British Rose Hand Cream for soft, hydrated and beautifully scented hands and the Almond Milk Body Yoghurt for a fast drying moisture hit this winter.
Green People
Green People have also released a non-vegan beauty advent.

Whilst Green People have a lot of vegan-friendly products, their main focus is using organic and natural products. It’s cruelty-free, fairly traded and uses certified organic ingredients but it’s not vegan.

Perhaps treat yourself instead to their Gradual Tan Moisturiser which is great for adding colour to winter skin. They also have a couple of beautiful gift boxes: a heavenly Damask Rose skin care set and a divine Orange Blossom skin care set.
Makeup Revolution
Although they’ve recently upped their game with their vegan labelling, their advent calendars sadly aren’t suitable for vegans.

The ‘Amazing’ Lipsticks and glosses are mostly to blame – these feature in both their classic Advent Calendar and their Lip Advent Calendar. Their NYE Countdown Calendar was so close to vegan, but the Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette ruins it.

Don’t fret, they have plenty of vegan-friendly gifts for Christmas. I’m a little in love with their Glitter Kit and their Strobe & Highlighting Kit.
