Whether you’re a Londoner or a visitor, it helps to know the best places for vegan beauty in the city. Whilst there are tonnes of great shops on the high street for vegan beauty, there are a few special gems in this city.

My Favourites

Lush Oxford Street

This mega Lush fills three whole floors with their signature products and Oxford Street exclusives. Expect their latest innovations, a large perfume selection, a huge bath bomb area and an exclusive make up counter.

Content Beauty, Marylebone

A beautiful store, close to Bond Street station, that focuses on both natural and sustainable lifestyle and beauty. Whilst it’s not exclusively vegan, you can find many cult beauty products from across the world in this store – which means the opportunity to try out skincare formulas and shade match makeup.

Eden Perfumes, Portobello Market

Brighton based perfumery Eden Perfumes have recently opened their second store in Portobello Market to the delight of many vegan Londoners. This is a great place to have a sniff of their myriad of scents and see just how on-the-nose their vegan dupes of popular perfumes are.

Floral Street, Covent Garden

Floral Street perfumery can be found in the picturesque but central Covent Garden. They have 12 signature scents founded in florals but with personalities that range far broader. Every perfume of theirs is proudly vegan and the bottles are absolutely stunning too. Find your new signature scent here.

Neal’s Yard, Seven Dials

Not only is this a big, gorgeous Neal’s Yard store but it’s also the first ever Neal’s Yard Remedies. It can be found in Neal’s Yard – a colourful, wellness yard in the heart of Covent Garden. The Yard also hosts a raw-vegan-friendly restaurant and a Neal’s Yard Therapy room. Don’t expect to leave here in a hurry!

The Body Shop, Bond Street

This special The Body Shop has been designed with activists in mind. In this one-of-a-kind store you can;

  • try out their new refill scheme,
  • top up your water bottle,
  • post at their activism selfie-zone
  • get creative at their gift wrap station

Charlotte Tilbury, Covent Garden

Charlotte Tilbury is one of the few luxury brands that is completely cruelty-free (no parent companies either!) and has loads of vegan options too. One of my favourite things about this Charlotte Tilbury store is the makeup artists and the makeover area downstairs. Whether you’re trying out a new lipstick before buying or you’ve booked in for a ‘magic transformation’ – they’ll make your experience special.
