Vegan Vitality Algae Oil Review

Whatever diet you eat, it’s good to ensure you’re getting all the right nutrients. Omega 3 has long been hailed for all it’s health benefits but can be difficult to consume without fish. Fortunately Vegan Vitality have an Omega 3 Algae Oil made without fish and is easy to buy through Amazon.  I’m working to take better care of my health and starting with introducing these capsules to my diet.

Why Omega 3?

There are three types of omega-3s: ALA, DHA, and EPA. These fats fight inflammation as well as keeping our hearts, brains, joints and eyes healthy. Our bodies can’t make these fatty acids themselves and rely on dietary sources.

ALA is easy to get through plant based foods such as walnuts, canola, chia, and flax seeds. EPA and DHA are more commonly consumed through fish. What most people don’t realise is that fish are rich in omega 3 because they eat algae which is full of omega 3. So why not just go straight to the source?

Benefits of Vegan Vitality Omega 3 Algae Oil

  • Vegan –  labelled vegan and made in a contamination free environment
  • No fishy taste – these tablets don’t have any funny smells or after tastes which is a big benefit for vegan and non-vegans alike
  • Easy to swallow – the tablets are (non gelatine) softgel to make them easier to swallow
  • Free from contaminants – fish oil has had a lot of bad press lately over quality concerns and fears of toxins like mercury, cadmium, lead and arsenic making their way into capsules
  • Great quality – with 300mg DHA & 150mg EPA Vegan Vitality have the best vegan capsules on the market

Take One a Day

It’s hard to comment on the benefits, as this is more a long-term health investment than a quick fix. I’ve been really impressed with the tablets. They’re smooth and flavourless so super easy to consume. Not only are these tablets great for vegans, they’re also great for anyone looking for a purer, more natural source of Omega 3.
