Batiste isn’t cruelty-free but these alternatives are
Is Batiste vegan or cruelty free?
Although their products are made with vegan ingredients (aka non animal origin), Batiste are not cruelty-free due to their animal testing policy. Thus both vegan shoppers and cruelty-free shoppers should avoid Batiste.

Taking a look at their FAQs, they state that they do no test on animals ‘unless required by law or regulation’ – which means that they are willing to sell in markets which require animal testing. A cruelty-free brand would not do this.
