Vegans- Where to Eat in London
I’ve put my bucket list together for dining out in London as a vegan. Some of these are tried and tested must-eats, others are ones I’ve been pining over for far too long and need to get out and taste!

Afternoon Tea at Ethos
I’ve been here a couple of times already myself, it’s super accessible being just off of Oxford Street. It’s quite difficult to find vegan afternoon tea options in London and this one’s great value for money at £20 per head. You get a great selection of teas, cakes, sandwiches and scones. The cashew cream and raspberry jam that accompanied the scones were the highlight, with my sister and I using the left overs on top of some of the cakes.

Young Vegans Pie N’ Mash
I queued up for one of these at a previous Hackney Vegan Market (doubt I’d go to one again, it was so busy!) and grabbed the sietan and ale pie. Totally delicious – I’m a huge fan of pie, mash and gravy so these guys are a dream come true. They’re in Tottenham Green Market every Sunday, with other less-frequent pop ups across London. Their mud pies are also pretty well known, may have to grab one next time to get a taste of the hype.

What The Pitta
Located in Boxpark Shoreditch and Boxpark Croydon (my biggest issue with Boxpark is that they have too many delicious vegan options) and also available on UberEATs and Deliveroo – there should be no excuse for not having tried these. I took my boyfriend here this week and we both ordered the Doner and Chips which was disappointingly far too salty for me but the omni-bae absolutely adored it (“Tastes just like a kebab”). Word has it a third location is going to open in Camden later this year. For any one missing a good kebab (is anyone?) definitely give this place a go.

Manna
A little fancier, totally perfect for a date night (if you can find a date that wants to eat 100% vegan) and located in the beautiful Primrose Hill. Eyeing over their menu, I’m salivating over the spaghetti and veatballs, sticky toffee pudding and the manna meze.

Yorica
For those of us that miss grabbing an ice cream on a summers day, or a cloudy day, or a wet day … Any day really – this ice cream shop is open all year round. Yorica is another vegan delight in Soho just off of Oxford Street and is a wonder for anyone avoiding any allergen. Being able to taste the ice creams before committing to a scoop is ace. You can have them served on a cone, in a cup or even on waffles.

Temple of Seitan
I’m sure you’ve heard of this place and I can assure you that it is worth the hype. Not one for those that like their healthy salads and calorie-counting. Far more for those who miss the likes of the odd greasy treat. I went out of my way to Hackney to grab the vegan ‘fried chicken’ sub and it was completely worth it. It also rated highly with my omnivore bestie who boldly declared it ‘better than KFC’.

I am not a vegan but reading your post made want to try some of those places. Great review. Keep up the good work!
