Top Vegan Beauty Influencers (UK)
So you’ve decided that you want to veganise your makeup bag – it can be difficult to know where to start! The world of cruelty-free beauty can be complex and sometimes brands like to mislead cusomers (like Garnier last year) or it can be hard to keep up with the news (does L’Oreal still own The Body Shop?). This is where following some vegan beauty gurus can really help. They’ll keep you in the loop and share all their best discoveries.
If you’re looking exclusively for YouTubers, you might prefer this list.
Top Vegan Beauty Influencers
@VeganBeautyGirl – insta/blog/youtube
Vegan Beauty Girl is your go-to resource for vegan beauty products. The feed is dedicated to sharing vegan beauty discoveries and letting you know where to find them. Ranging from high street finds to small independents, you’ll be stunned at just how many amazing beauty options there are. This is my account and I’m hugely proud of it, hope you love it too!
@oh.emj – insta/blog/youtube
Em-J is a vegan and cruelty free makeup artist and shares a lot of on-set looks as well as peeks into her personal life. She’s always the girl to ask if you’re struggling finding vegan dupes of your old favourite makeup. Em-J also owns The emJ Company which is full of vegan-friendly tools and accessories for beauty professionals.
@DemiColleen – insta/blog
Self-professed black feminist and skincare addict, Demi shares stunning vegan beauty, lifestyle and fashion posts. With a good eye for detail and a passion for social issues, I can always trust Demi to call-out brands that have shitty ethics. I watch her insta stories on the regular as they’re always informative, thought provoking or entertaining.
@jaineesha_mua – insta/blog
Jaineesha is an award winning, international, vegan and cruelty-free bridal makeup artist. Jaineesha has been featured in the UK’s leading Bridal Magazine – Khush, Glamour Magazine’s YouTube Channel with HudaBeauty, BBC Asian Network and worked with Jay Manuel on QVC. Jaineesha first became interested in veganism in 2017 and has since worked hard to transform her own kit and bridal kit to be100% vegan.
@ThingsThatGrowBlog – insta/blog
I love Becca’s feed for her minimalist style and #gridgoals. She’s super honest about looking after her acne-prone skin and challenges the beauty industry’s continuous use of flawless skin. She’s not only vegan but also totally into green beauty.
@CrueltyFreeBecky – insta/blog/youtube
With over 10k subscribers, Becky is first and foremost a YouTube beauty queen. Watching her videos feels like a chat with your best friend, with common topics being; sustainable fashion, cruelty free beauty and vegan food. Her aesthetic is pretty, dreamy and inspiring. Great for those on a budget, Becky loves a good bargain: she thrifts her clothes and wears affordable makeup.
@veganbrownting – insta/youtube
Abby is a London-based vegan babe that loves to show off vegan products – whether thats beauty, clothes or food. She shows her followers that being vegan doesn’t mean you can’t eat good and look good.
@ambertheevegan – insta
Amber is proudly vegan for the animals and takes this ethos to her skincare and beauty choices too. Her feed is full of food, beauty and lots of good positive energy.
@ellierhianstennett – insta/youtube
Ellie is a blonde bombshell that creates (mostly makeup) videos using only vegan and cruelty free products. She’s based in Southampton and loves experimenting with new products. I love watching her test out over-hyped beauty products and play about with hair dyes.
@tiyatalks –insta
Tiya loves to share both plant-based food and cruelty-free beauty on her IG account. She creates loads of fun makeup looks and is based in Essex/London.
