Basics; Hand Soap

Posted byNicole Whittle Posted onAugust 29, 2019 Comments0

Today I’m taking it back to basics and reviewing a very simple beauty product; hand soap.

Now, just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s something to be bought with little care or thought. We wash our hands more than any other part of ourselves, so it makes sense to choose a gentle but affective soap.

This product was provided to me free of charge from the Studio Botanic, who have paid me to publish my honest review. The opinions expressed in this review are independent and my own.

Studio Botanic’s Hand Soap

There are a few key things I love about this soap; it’s minimal design, it’s gentle formula and great ingredients.

Minimal design

This bottle is exactly the sort of bottle you want on display in your bathroom or kitchen. The design is elegantly minimal, in line with Studio Botanic’s gender neutral ethos. They want their products to last and focus on good skincare rather than fads or trends. This is why they focus on a clean, timeless look.

Gentle Formula

The ingredients used were careful chosen with sensitive skin in mind. Which is brilliant as that’s exactly what I have. Especially once the weather starts to get colder, I need a gentle hand wash and my faithful hand cream.

These are the hero ingredients used in this hand soap;

  • Witch hazel to relieve itching and to counteract dry, chapped skin
  • Vegan plant based glycerine to balance skin’s moisture levels & keep hands hydrated
  • Lemongrass for a mild, uplifting but gentle fragrance

Studio Botanic is a German brand, you can buy their products easily in the UK via Amazon.
