Big Vegan Haul – LNYL & Just V Show
The Love Natural Love You and Just V Show returned to Kensington Olympia on the 6th-8th July. I love this show as it’s a great opportunity to buy tonnes of vegan beauty and food goodies at discount prices. Either read below or check out my YouTube video to see what I spent my money on.
Beauty

Dr Botanicals
Dr Botanicals had a super cute stall complete with a spinning wheel where guests could win prizes. I was lucky enough to win the Pomegranate Regenerating Sleeping Mask (worth £15) which is super hydrating and full of anti-oxidants.
They had tonnes of products at hugely reduced prices (why didn’t I buy more?!) and I treated myself to 2 cleansing bars: Vanilla Chai & Amber and Moroccan Rose & Rhubarb. These both smell absolutely divine and I can’t wait to see how they work as face cleansers. At the show, I bought these on a 2 for £5 offer. Whilst I can’t find these exact products online (were they clearing out old stock?) the other cleansing bars are close to £20 each. This is a good example of how great savings can be at these sorts of exhibitions.
Sports FX
Sports FX is a makeup brands designed with active women in mind. If you’re looking for cruelty-free cosmetics for the gym, Sports FX are there for you. Not all their products are vegan, but most are.
SportFX cosmetics are not fully vegan as we use beeswax in our Sports Stamina Mascara and BB Cream
I treated myself to their vanilla-scented, volumising dry shampoo. As part of the show offer, they gave me a mini-hair makeover too. I’m so happy it doesn’t leave white residue as that stands out like crazy on my dark hair.
Pacifica
Pacifica are a fun, US-based vegan beauty brand that sell cosmetics, skincare and perfumes. I already have a couple of their perfumes and treated myself to the Tahitian Gardenia. It’s a sexy jasmine scent with a hint of citrus that is perfect for the summer.

Food

- Vegan ‘Easy Egg’, Orgran, £2 – I use this a lot as an egg substitute, so was happy to restock at a discounted price. Also available from Ocado.
- Shiitake Mushroom & Kombu Powder, SALTernative – This mushroom-seaweed combo is meant to be the perfect salt replacement for those looking to reduce their intake.
- Skinny Dips samples – I brought back some little dip pots for my boyfriend to try, as I quite liked them: Peri Mayo, Salad Dressing, BBQ sauce
- Scampi Bites, Linda McCartney, £3 for 2 bags – They were serving out tasters for these and I really like the fishy taste, so I bought a couple of bags. I think these will be amazing served with vegan tartar sauce and a juicy lemon wedge.
- Anandas Round Up Waggon Wheel, Alternative Stores, £3 – This sweet treat tastes reminiscent of waggon wheels, but better.
- Dairy-free Cheddar, Koko, £1.50 – My boyfriend loves cheddar and has been eating a lot of vegan alternatives lately, so I thought I’d treat him to this.
Fashion

Ikigai Jewellery
I didn’t expect to be leaving this show with any new jewellery, but I was so mesmerised with the Ikigai gemstone collection. Whilst I was tempted by the bangles, it was one of the gold-plated stacking rings that I left with. At £30 a ring it was an affordable purchase and I’ll definitely be adding a thing or two from here to my Christmas list.
Lifestyle International presents Gowma, leather substitute
These PETA approved non-leather accessories are so luxurious and beautifully made. They are perfect for anyone looking for good quality suede or leather alternatives.
Tom, my boyfriend, has recently stopped eating meat and has been struggling to find a good replacement for his old leather wallet. I treated him to a smart a smart black wallet, which he’s very pleased with. I then treated myself to a stylish navy backpack which I can use both casually and when heading to the office.
Copper Water Bottle
I bought this mainly for it’s anti-bacterial properties, as I found my reuseable water bottle started to develop a stale taste to it, and hope for a longer, fresher life with this bottle. I’ve read a few articles about the benefits of a copper bottle recently and finding this cute design was enough to convince me to make the change.
