Can You Get a Vegan Lash Lift?
Lately I’ve had a lot of questions come in about salon treatments and whether they can be done vegan. Whilst I still mostly get questions about hairdressers, lash lifts come in as a close second. In today’s post we’ll be looking at what a lash lift is, whether they can be vegan or cruelty-free and mini review too!
What is a lash lift?
Lash lifts curl your lashes permanently – giving a natural looking flutter to your lashes. It’s a much more girl-next-door alternative to lash extensions which can look too dramatic and glamorous for everyday life.

Basically, getting a Lash Lift gives makes you look like you’ve used eyelash curlers everyday for 4-6 weeks. Pairing a lash lift with a lash tint can make it look like you’re wearing a natural looking mascara permanently (but no risk of smudging!)
Are they vegan and cruelty free?
This depends on the products used. My local 100% vegan salon Earth Makeover Bar uses Kalentin’s Vegan KLC Lash Lift Kit. This kit is certified vegan and cruelty free by both PETA and The Vegan Society. The 4-step treatment adds strength and volume to lashes and each kit contains every product needed for 30 applications.

Advice to customers
I am not aware of any other kits which are certified vegan or cruelty-free. So please do check with your local salon and see which kit they use. If they aren’t already using this vegan kit, perhaps suggest that they start offering it! After all, vegans are quite the popular, profit-boosting niche these days!
advice to beauticians
If you’re a salon owner or beautician, please do check out Kalentin’s vegan section. Offering vegan treatments is a great way to stand out in your local area. Please feel free to pop me an email if you have any questions on how to make your salon vegan friendly.
