The Cruelty Free Beauty Box Review
I’m on to my second month with the Cruelty Free Beauty box and I am loving it. They are a UK beauty subscription box which are full of vegan and cruelty free goodies. When you sign up you can choose between a beauty and a makeup box depending on your preference. As you sign up they ask you a few questions (skin tone, makeup style, skin type, hair colour, etc) to ensure that they send products that suit both your skin tone and style. Read on to see what I thought about my first two boxes.

December Box

Cougar Mineral Eyebrow Primer, RRP £9
I absolutely love this. Thanks to their questionnaire I received a great dark shade which works so well with my brows. This applies like a dream when paired with my Spectrum Collection eyebrow brush.
Cougar Mineral Eyeshadow, RRP £3
I received a beautiful sexy grey shade, which is quite new to me as I usually go for golden tones.
Pastel, Vibrant and Dark were my options for makeup preference. Whilst I selected dark and sultry, a natural glow or golden goddess option would’ve been more up my alley.
PHB Ethical Beauty Face Mask, RRP £18.50
This mask is so moisturising; it sunk in like a dream and nourished my skin rather than leaving it clogged and greasy. Perfect for anyone that struggles with dry skin.
Lucky Cloud Cleansing Balm, RRP £7.50
I am such a fan of cleansing balms and currently use one each morning. I think that they’re great for gently cleaning pores and improving circulation. I massage the balm into my skin then wipe clean with a warm flannel, working in circular motions for a gentle exfoliation. My skin has improved dramatically since switching my routing to a cleansing balm in the morning rather than a traditional facewash.
Le Mont Botanique Unrefined Rosehip Oil, RRP £7.50
I do love rosehip oil, but find that it’s not moisturising enough for my skin in the winter. However, it’s my go-to summer moisturiser so I’ll be saving this for later this year.
January box

Maggie Anne Nail Polish, RRP £10.50
Usually when I receive nail varnishes in beauty boxes I get awful, difficult to wear colours (hello yellow and orange)! The Cruelty Free Beauty box sent me a gorgeous sultry red. Unfortunately, despite the high price tag, this polish had started chipping within four days.
Green Frog Botanic Bodywash, RRP £3.95
I’ve used Green Frog body wash before and found it nice and gentle on skin. This one is a refreshing morning mint wash. This body wash is 100% natural and free from chemicals.
Lucky Cloud Lip Butter, RRP £4.50
Perfect for the winter and with a super cool sliding lid. This lip butter is made from cocoa and coconut butters for a super moisturising combo.
PHB Ethical Organic Eyeliner, RRP £8.95
I love this eyeliner so much I already have it! Now I have one for my handbag too. This is really gentle yet long lasting and waterproof. Their mascara is also really great.
Tisserand Aromatherapy Body Lotion, RRP £10.95
I received the Neroli and Sandalwood body lotion which smells great and lingers nicely on the skin. I love that it comes with a pump for easy use.
Let me know below which product you’d most love from my two box haul. If you’re looking to order a box don’t forget to use the discount code.
