If the materials used are sustainable? It’s not something I had given much thought to until I recently discovered Wolf & Gypsy.

Introducing Wolf & Gypsy

Wolf & Gypsy are a Manchester based jewellery brand that’s looking to make a positive change with their handmade jewellery. They care about the materials used in creating their jewellery and their impact on people and the planet.

They only ever use recycled precious metals and conflict-free gemstones – not that this leads to any compromise on quality. Each item is designed by the female founder in the UK and then handcrafted by artisans in an ethical workshop in India. They’re also a member of 1% for the planet. This means that they donate 1% of their earnings to sustainable nonprofits.

My Necklace

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that there’s nothing I love more than an Evil Eye design and this one from Wolf & Gypsy is one of my favourites! I love the contrast of the white topaz against the Gold Vermeil and the dimensional eye patten.

This necklace is also available in silver and different chain lengths are available too. I opted for the 22″ chain length for a longer finish. This leaves the necklace resting between my collarbone and bust. It’s great for adding detail and elegance to any plain outfit. I love to pair it with plain black outfits or simple, patternless jumpers.

Just a quick note – I had to get in contact with Wolf & Gypsy because the chain broke when I first received this necklace. They were quick to sort it all out for me and had this to say:

• As much as I love my Eye pendent, I was super tempted by their Fire Element necklace (I’m a sagittarius don’t ya know). They have a necklace for each element – a great gift for that obsessed friend.
