Helping Women Thrive
Thrive Causemetics are a US based cosmetic company who, similar to Toms shoes, donate a product with each product sale. They have partnered with a variety of charities that connect them to women going through a difficult time be that cancer, homelessness or domestic abuse. It doesn’t sound like much, but providing these women with a makeup and services can help them feel ready to face the world. Learn more about their values here.
The Products
Thrive Causemetics sent across some on their products for me to try out and I’ve filmed a video for you guys to show off their best-selling CC cream alongside their beauty blender, setting powder and brush. Buy the whole set here.
Vegan & Cruelty Free
Checking out their FAQs they have this to say:
Yes, we create 100% vegan + cruelty-free makeup and we never test on animals. We are certified by PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program.
In the interest of transparency, some of the charities they partner with may not be strictly vegan-friendly. You can take a look at the charities here, which includes Ronald McDonald House Charity. This isn’t an issue for me, but I appreciate others may not feel okay with this.
Conclusion
Whilst I received these products for free, there was no obligation to write a review or speak positively about the products. I really love this foundation and wanted to show you guys what it’s like to apply and wear. I know the majority of my readers are based in the UK and it can feel risky ordering products from the US but trust me, this is unlike anything I’ve tried on our side of the Atlantic. It’s quick and easy to apply, gives really good coverage and feels so natural on.
