Vegan & Plastic Free Moisturisers

Posted byNicole Whittle Posted onFebruary 26, 2020 Comments0

Have you tried to live life plastic free? That’s what I’m doing this week! Plastic really is everywhere in our everyday lives, so I’m working bit by bit to do better. Day 1 focused primarily on transforming my kitchen and bathroom to be plastic free havens. Fortunately, I’ve been looking to reduce my plastic consumption for a while already, so I already had lots of plastic free toiletries to hand. The one product I’m missing? A face moisturiser.

Thankfully you guys had tonnes of recommendations for me over at @veganbeautygirl. I figured if this is something I was struggling with, someone else somewhere would be too. So I’ve collected all your recommendations in this post!

Plastic Free Face Moisturisers

Every product on this list will be plastic free, vegan and cruelty free ✔️

FACETHEORY MOISTURISERS

Facetheory are one of my favourite skincare brands – not just because they’re fully vegan and cruelty-free – but also because their fuss-free skincare completely transformed and cleared my skin. Beyond all of this, they’re super sustainably focused and use minimal plastic in their products. Thus, they have quite a few plastic-free moisturisers to choose from!

my favourite of the facetheory moisturisers

The following moisturisers – like a lot of their products – come in glass jars with aluminum lids:

  • Ceraquench Renewal Cream M6 –  best for aging skin, this ceramide rich cream works to reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity
  • Aventhra Moisture M2 – perfect for sensitive skin with ingredients like oatmeal, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera
  • Regena-C Moisture M4 – the lightest of the creams, this rich day cream protects against environmental damage and encourages skin-cell renewal.
