Wild Deodorant Review [Refillable Vegan Deodorant]
Wild arguably had one of the biggest vegan deodorant launches of the last few years, with almost every influencer on your feed having one. As you can imagine, I was gifted one when they launched and – after trying it out for a few weeks – it’s sat under my bed for months unused. Why? Let’s get into it…

My thoughts on Wild Deodorant
I was really intrigued when I first head of Wild deodorant – I liked the style of their product and the plastic-free, refillable ethos.

Whilst ultimately it wasn’t for me, I want to lay out the good and bad, so you can get a good idea of the deodorant:
The Good
- For an eco-friendly, natural deodorant, I think the price is pretty reasonable
- Sustainable – completely plastic-free and the refills are compostable
- Customisation – I like that you can pick your case colour and scents, allowing you to mix and match
- The refillable tube makes it easier to apply and use than most other solid deodorants
- Kept me smelling fresh all day (as long as I applied an adequate amount)
The Bad
- Solid deodorants (not just Wild) do not work on my skin – I’ve tried many over the years and they all have a habit of dragging at my skin and clogging my pores …. all round irritation
- Not the easiest to construct – just make sure you follow the instruction, do not rely on your intuition – treat it with the same respect you would with Ikea furniture
- Avoid if you’re sensitive to sodium bicarbonate – a lot of my followers said that the high quantities of this irritated their skin
- Solid deodorants like this perform better in the summer as the warmer temperatures help the product melt on to the skin, thus it didn’t work well during the colder months
